Playing Chess Is Good For the Brain?

In a recent study carried out in West London it was found that playing chess several times a week is good for the brain. It is a very old game played by young and old. I wonder if it will still be played in another 50 years time.

Money doesn`t grow on trees in Chiswick Park but..

Had a nice free cup of coffee and a bite to eat with Danny today. They say money doesn`t grow on trees but sometimes it falls from them!
This is a very old and beautiful park in the heart of West London and today we were lucky with the bright sunny weather.

Where is the best place to live?

Many people say London is the best city in the world? Do you agree?

Where is a better place to live a big city with all its pollution, crowds and noise or a remote rural area by the sea?

Good mood or bad mood?

I normally don`t like this kind of photo but this one caught my eye. I love the facial expression and feeling of joy she displays. It contrasts starkly with the ugly hairy camel sitting beside the girl.

Winter Blues

This is a great photo of the misty, dull sky that we often get at this time of year.

I like the close- up of the tree branches in the foreground, providing some interest and colour. It is bleak and cold but there is a hint of Spring and better, warmer days.
